What You'll Do Here

Unstructured. Unhurried.
Unexpectedly enough.

There is no activities schedule. No wake-up call. No itinerary slipped under the door. From forest trekking and a sunrise hillock climb to the swimming pool and slow farm walks, these are the things to do at our farm stay near Bangalore — all on your own time, none expected.

Guided Farm Walk

Walk the 5 acres with us. Learn which tree was planted when and why. 4,500 trees don't end up in a valley by accident.

Thaggati Forest Trek

The forest begins at the edge of the farm. Old-growth trees, leopard territory, birdsong that sounds like it was recorded in the 1980s. Guide included.

Hillock Climb

A short climb to the top of the hillock that defines the property. 360-degree views of the valley, Bengaluru skyline in the distance on clear days.

Night Pond Walk

After dinner, walk to the mountain-fed pond. Frogs in full performance. The sky uninterrupted by city light. Bring a blanket.

Sit and Do Nothing

On the cliff deck at Ukiyo. Or the forest edge at Yugen. Or the pond verandah at Kodama. Guests describe this as the best thing they did all weekend.

Macro Photography Walk

The farm is a macro photographer's dream. Insects, textures, light through mango leaves, water on banana fronds. Bring your camera or just your phone.

The Pool

A common swimming pool with filtration, set in the greenery and open to all guests. Cool off after a trek, or just float and watch the valley do nothing with you.

Private Outdoor Bathtub

Every cottage has its own private outdoor bathtub. Draw a hot soak under open sky — steam, birdsong by day, stars by night, and complete privacy.

Bird Watching

The farm and the forest edge draw an extraordinary range of birds. Bring binoculars or just your ears — here, birdsong replaces alarm clocks.

Star Gazing

On clear summer nights, with no city light to dilute it, the sky opens completely. Lie back on the deck, let your eyes adjust, and count what you have been missing.

Perched right on the horizon, Hidden Eden gives you a breath-taking view of both sunrise and sunset. Step outdoors around six — morning and evening — to watch the sky perform. It asks nothing of you but your attention.

Some guests do all of this. Some do none of it.

The most common feedback we get is: "I didn't expect to enjoy doing nothing this much."

We take that as the highest possible compliment.
